I Will Never Give Tips for Budgeting

tips for budgeting

I am frequently asked to give tips for budgeting but I don’t.  The word budget leaves a connotation of lack behind as soon as you hear it spoken. It actually sends shivers up my spine. I do not believe in lack and I am not alone in that opinion.

You have heard that 95% of all wealth is controlled by about 5% of the population, haven’t you? Well, this is true.

The people who hold this wealth all have common characteristics in their relationship with money. The wealthiest people in the world all have the same attitudes and feelings about money and this plays a huge roll in wealth accumulation. And the first step to the accumulation of your wealth and the annihilation of your bills is to improve YOUR relationship with money.

If all you think about are the bills that you have to pay, then miraculously that is what you are going to receive – more bills. If you think that you do not have enough money then you will never have enough money.

On the flipside though, if you focus on your prosperity, that is what will come to you. This is not mumble jumble; the best way to get a handle on your finances is to get your mind thinking about more money– not less.

To achieve your dreams, it is important to believe in this reality: You must think and FEEL positive about your finances. The wealthiest people in the world all do just that, they feel and they KNOW in their heart that they will prosper and they EXPECT more of life and BELIEVE they will get it.

The best personal financial advice I can give you is: No one cares more about your money than you do and you are the only one who can change things for the better in your life. The best way to turn the tables on your money is to change your mindset when it comes to your finances.

So, if you seem to have more money left at the end of your month, I suggest that you do not even think about the word “budget”. Think, instead, about how grateful you are for what you already have now, feel your gratitude deep down inside. Expect that you will have opportunities for gain and believe in your heart that you can manage your money and it won’t manage you.
