2 Easy Ways to Reduce Stress & Improve Your Wellness & Spirituality

You can overcome stress with your spirituality and by doing so you can achieve improvements in both your wellness and spirituality. Many people say hand over your troubles to God, but I say just do not have any troubles and let God handle all the good things in your life.

Let’s look at this for a minute, the definition of trouble is to: agitate mentally or spiritually: to produce physiovercome troubling stresscal disorder in:  to put into confused motion.

Do you want any of that?

I didn’t think so.

To rid yourself of troubles, just change your perception.  Do not allow yourself to perceive any of your life’s situations as worrisome or troubled and believe that God will only provide you with the best.

2 Easy Ways to Reduce Stress and Improve Your Wellness and Spirituality:

  1. Start a worry box. When you are worried or stressed about anything during the week, write it down and put it in the box. Then, do not think about it again until a chosen day of the week that you will open the box and look at your worries. You will find that most of the stuff you would have worried about has just worked itself out without you worrying at all. I used to do this, but the activity trained me to think differently so now I just think that the problems will resolve themselves and I tell God that I am grateful for the solution he has provided to me even before I am consciously aware of the solution. It is that easy and it works.
  2. Make a Move, Change Your Attitude. Since worry or stress manifests itself in our physical bodies, do something with your physical body to change the stress you are feeling. When do not like the way you feel in the moment, take a quick walk. Snap your fingers or clap your hands. Get up and change rooms or your environment if you can. Or if you are in a situation you can not easily leave, then change your mind. See the opportunity in the moment or simply tell yourself you will see the good at a later time and let the stress go. One simple action can change your whole attitude.

Your perception is your reality. So, if it stresses you out, change the way you are thinking or what you are doing.
